Dear Visitors,
Allow me the pleasure of inviting you to read my analytic study of the Kuwait Legislators Attitude in light of Comparative Law. This study is titled by "The fair use of Copyrighted Work".
The book is introduced by a preliminary chapter dealing with general principles of copyright. The subject of this study is divided into two chapters: The first deals with the concept of fair use of work and it contains four sections; definition of fair use of work, general conditions of fair use of work, objective standards of fair use of work and the standards of fair use in accordance to the Kuwaiti legislation.
The second chapter of this book deals with the application of fair use of work. It contains six section; personal use of work, reproduction of work by public libraries - scientific institutions or non-commercial attestation centers, work performance at private meeting, fair use of in quoted work fields, fair use in educational fields and fair use in mass media fields. Each of these subjects was summarized in sufficient details for the reader to gain an understanding of the main topic of this study.
My book is principally dedicated towards those legal professionals who place professional duty above financial re-wards, who uphold the highest traditions of the profession even as others tarnish it with greed, and who recognize that representing a client is an opportunity to do good, not just an opportunity to do well.
Your valuable feedback is greatly appreciated,
Yours,
Yousef Thaher Al Harbish |
