Mr. Ahmed Abdou ahmed.abdou@markazlaw.com Mr. Ahmed Abdou is an Associate in the Corporate Advisory Department at Al Markaz and joined the firm in December 2009. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Abdou originally graduated from the English department of law school at University of Alexandria and then practiced commercial law for several years with Adel Anwar Law Firm and then was appointed as Foreign and Local disputes manager at ETMS for 4 years in Alexandria, during which time he studied for, and was awarded, a two years diploma from the Institute of Islamic Culture. Mr. Abdou then relocated to Cairo, Egypt to work in CMA CGM, the French container line, for 2 years before joining Al Markaz Law Firm. His principal practice specialisms comprise shipping law, general commercial law, employment disputes, international arbitration and dispute resolution.
